Hi my friend!
First of all, thank you for your devotion to horses!

But with a passion like yours also comes long hours, right?

The barn seems to be a time vortex…

So, by the time you come home, the last thing you want to do is open your computer to work ON your business.

And when you finally do get a chance to answer that soul-crushing pileup of texts, emails and calls, you are left feeling like it’s impossible to generate a consistent income, because any prospective clients have moved on in frustration.

You feel really uncomfortable producing social media posts that are supposed to sell...

You have endless confidence working with horses, but you hate talking about yourself and can’t put into words what it is that you actually do.

Technology is more intimidating than the wildest horse in your care...

It's just plain painful to sit in front of the computer and feel this fog of overwhelm come up.

You love your private clients BUT even after long, hard days, there is little profit to show for.

Ready to get out of feeling bone tired?

Read on for the 3 most essential steps to take:

1. Ask yourself if you have a speciality that sells well

Being a jack-of-all-trades is the surest bet to staying stuck. Your #1 goal is to pick a niche that delivers results clients want.

It makes EVERYTHING easier. Your website writes itself, your networking efforts pay off, your clients are happy because you can deliver exactly what they want.

Think about it…who makes more money: your general MD or the specialist at the clinic?

2. Create a website that sells for you

Once you’ve declared a speciality, truly, the best way to get booked is to create a website that reflects your skills well AND guides the casual visitor to reaching out to you for services.

Yes, yes, I know. I can hear your sigh…but I do have a couple solutions for you that will make that whole website-creation thing much easier.

3. Specialize in what you do best

Equipped with the power of ‘owning’ a desirable niche, and a website that represents the value you deliver to people, you can now confidently network. Before you click away in frustration, let me give you a simple example:

Think about 10 people who are your ‘niche’ mates. Basically, think of 10 people who serve the same clients you’d like to serve. That could be vets, farriers, osteopaths, boarding stable owners.

Create a list.

Then think about their greatest frustrations.

Are those misbehaving horses? Or riders who fall off too often?

What could you offer for free that would solve those problems for THEM?

Can you see where I’m going with this?

Then offer them solutions in a free workshop/clinic or seminar that demonstrates your expertise in front of THEIR clients, gaining credibility, goodwill and … yes, referral sources.

And you know what else is great? You get to test your first course material, without the pressure of having to sell anything. Once you’ve conducted those workshops or clinics a few times for free, you can then start to charge for them and gradually move out of 1:1 services into 1-to many.

But let’s half-halt and allow me introduce myself.

Hi, I’m Catherine Respess, the founder of Red Mare. We make growing a profitable equine business a heck-of-a-lot easier.

At Red Mare, we know you want to expand your overwhelmingly busy equine service business so that you can enjoy the freedom that comes from a better income and more time.

To do that, you need to learn to delegate what is not your strength, and take that newfound space to expand your business strategically.

The problem is that most horse professionals don’t know how to free themselves from working like an employee IN their business, which makes them feel frustrated, overwhelmed and burnt out when faced with strategic planning, branding and marketing.
